Our Shanghai office

Our office is located in one of Shanghai prime business district areas, JingAn. It sits on a network of public transportation, which includes a few metro lines, easily accessible to airports and high speed train station. The area is named after the historic Jing’an Temple. It is a cosmopolitan powerhouse with historic features, skyscrapers, modern shopping and dining area.

We were one of the first few foreign law firms approved by the Chinese Ministry of Justice to establish a representative office in Mainland China. We act for both international and Chinese companies undertaking transactions or projects in China and outside China. We have an international reputation for providing first-class legal advice on dispute resolution for, often complex, international projects in the infrastructure and energy sectors. We are recognised for advising across the full spectrum of corporate M&A transactions including large, cross border international transactions.

From art shows to music festivals, there will always be some sort of event going on in Shanghai. You can explore the city, with Chinese historic features, or make your way around the French Concession.

The famous waterfront area known as The Bund is not far from our office and features a collection of historical buildings along the banks of the Huangpu River.
