We’re based in the lively West Bay business district of Doha, in the iconic Tornado Tower which, as well as offices, is home to a number of shops and restaurants.
While our office sees people coming and going throughout the day, it seems quiet compared to the rest of Tornado Tower which is a hive of activity. As well as various coffee shops and restaurants, it offers spectacular sea views. The local area is home to a variety of restaurants, as well as a supermarket across the road from the office. With a newly-built Metro station close to the office and ample underground parking for anyone who wants to drive, it’s also very easy to get to.
Doha has a thriving cultural scene, from the recently opened National Museum of Qatar and the Museum of Islamic Art to Katara Cultural Village. Here, you’ll find art galleries, an opera house, and auditoriums. You’ll also find world-class jazz at the Lincoln Center Doha.
The Pearl Qatar is a manmade island inspired by Venice, with shops, restaurants, cinemas and clubs. Travel further afield and you can discover local traditions on a safari into the sand dunes and mountains around the city or visit the inland sea and the Al Thakira mangroves.
For sports fans, there are two major tennis tournaments at the beginning of the year. And, of course, the Football World Cup is scheduled to be held in Qatar in 2022.
